This Podcast telles you “simple Japanese conversation ". The theme of "A word on the spur of the moment!" Please listen to this Podcast!  みなさんこんにちは、めぐみです。いかがお過ごしですか。  このポッドキャストは、咄嗟の一言を日本語で言おう！をテーマにお送りしています。ぜひ聞いてみてくださいね。  Today, let's consider some of the words we hear most often on Twitter. 今日は、Twitterでよく耳にする言葉について考えてみましょう。 When replying to someone on a social networking site, what is the Japanese word for engaging people who are not directly involved in the conversation ? SNSで誰かに返信する際に、会話とは直接的に無関係な人にメンションを付けて巻き込んでしまうことを日本語で何と言うでしょうか。 The answer is “巻き込みリプ”. 答えは「巻き込みリプ」です。  "巻き込みリプ" is said to translate into 'unintended reply' in English, but I have not seen many non-Japanese people use this expression on Twitter. Perhaps it is just that many Japanese people are concerned about "巻き込みリプ" , and it may be a trivial matter for people from other countries. 巻き込みリプとは、英語では、「unintended reply（意図しない返答）」と訳されるそうですが、私はTwitter上で日本人以外の人がこの表現を使っているのをあまり見たことがありません。おそらくは日本人の中に巻き込みリプを気にする人が多いだけで、他の国の人にとっては些細なことなのかもしれません。  It depends on your personal values and how you see it, but it's true that some people don't like it when you get involved in a rip-off, because "it's not clear who you're talking to" and "the notification box is filled up with topics that don't concern you", so try to pay a little bit of attention to it. And that might make things more comfortable for both of you! 個人の価値観や捉え方によって是非がわかれるところではありますが、巻き込みリプをされた場合「誰に対して話しかけているのかが明確でなくなる」のは一理ありますし、「自分には関係ない話題で通知欄が埋め尽くされる」といったことを嫌う方がいるのは事実なので、少し気にかけるようにすると、お互いに快適になるかもしれませんね！  それでは今日はここまでです。また来週お会いしましょう！ That's all for today. Thank you for listening and see you next week. Bye!
