Up until now this Podcast told you “How should you say this situation in Japanese?”, “What does Japanese word mean?” and “Do you know this culture in Japan?”.But second season, I'd like us to talk in simpler Japanese, change way of thinking.So I hope to introduce the Japanese language, quiz-style format. Please listen to it in your spare time.

このpodcastではこれまで「こんな時日本語ではなんていうの？」「この日本語の意味は何？」といった疑問に答えたり、「日本のこんな文化知ってる？」といった豆知識を伝えたりしてきました。

ですが、セカンドシーズンでは趣向を変えて、もう少し簡単に日本語で会話をしてみたいと考えました。そのため、クイズ形式で様々な日本語日常会話をみていけたらなと思っています。

“Let’s keeep in touch”, which translation is correct?

　それでは、第一回目のクイズです！

　「Let’s keeep in touch.」の訳としてはどちらの日本語が正しいでしょうか？

①これからもよろしくお願いします

②これからよろしくお願いします

Correct answer is number one. The point is whether there is a 'も' or not.

① is a phrase that you say to someone you have a relationship with. Includes the meaning ‘I hope we can keep a good and long relationship’.

② is a phrase that includes the meaning 'Nice to meet you’.

A single letter of “も” can completely change the meaning. 　

　ポイントは「も」があるかないかの違いです。

　①は、今まで顔を合わせたことがあったり、付き合いがある人に対していうフレーズで

　「引き続き関わりを持ちましょう」の意味を含みます。

　②は「初めまして」の意味を含むフレーズです。

　②の訳としてよくあるのは、Nice to meet you.です。

　「も」の一文字で、含まれる意味が全然違ってくるので、使い分けてくださいね！
